If we are talking about a cleaned shrimp, it means that it has no vein. Removing these parts can improve the quality of taste and prevent possible unpleasant experiences when eating shrimp, especially if they are not prepared properly. Cleaning shrimp is common in many kitchens and is standard practice in the food industry. Our peeled shrimps are always deveined.
There are two types of cleaning:
1. CUT DEVEINED – the shrimp has its vein is pulled out after cutting its back.
2. PINED POOLED - the shrimp has its vein removed by pulling it out with tweezers or a similar tool. Then there is no slit on the back and it looks much nicer.
